The Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society (EEGS) invites you to submit an abstract for presentation at the 38th Symposium on the Application of Geophysics to Engineering and Environmental Problems (SAGEEP), taking place March 15–19, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.

Centered on the theme “Geophysics in the 21st Century,” SAGEEP 2026 will highlight how near-surface geophysics continues to evolve through innovation, technology, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to address today’s environmental and engineering challenges.

Join colleagues from around the world for a week of technical presentations, poster sessions, field demonstrations, networking, and an exhibition showcasing the latest technologies and applications in the near-surface geophysical sciences.

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts should be:

  • 300–700 words (maximum one page)
  • Text only, no figures or tables
  • Submitted in the MS Word Stylesheet Template
  • Authors may ondicate preference for oral or poster presentation

All submissions undergo peer review by the Technical Committee. Accepted abstracts will appear in the SAGEEP 2026 Conference Proceedings.

The 2026 Technical Program will include Special Sessions developed in coordination with other SAGEEP topics. If your abstract aligns with one of these sessions, please identify it in the “Keyword(s) (Other)” field during submission.
